Green:
The Rivanna Resort is committed to green practices and is working toward achieving Virginia Green certification.
The resort is teaming up with Rock'n Renew Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes environmental awareness to youth utilizing music & art as the communication medium, on a number of innovative green projects including an ecology program at the resort that will educate Virginia students on sustainability, water and eco-system conservation and "green" jobs. Plans are also in the works for an organic garden as well as rain gardens that the resort's guests can enjoy and participate in.
The Rivanna is also partnering with True Offsets, a company that is setting the world standard for carbon offsets through transparent investment.
